We’re making a couple of changes to the way we do things in a bid to make Laneway Learning even more awesome for you. You can read about the changes, as well as our reasons, below.
Refunds
From the start of August we will require at least 48 hours notice if you would like to receive a refund or credit when cancelling your place at a class.
At the moment we find that we nearly always have empty spaces in our classes, despite having a waiting list, which means people are missing out! Twenty four hours doesn’t give us enough time to get the word out there, and doesn’t give you enough time to check your diaries. We hope that this little change will mean you manage to attend more of the classes that you are interested in. If you find out than you are unable to attend a class and there is less than 48 hours to go, please do still let us know!
To make it easier on you we will also be sending out the reminder emails earlier.
Waiting List Spaces
We’ve been a bit haphazard with how we offer up waiting list spots up until now, which doesn’t make it very easy for you – sorry about that!
So from now on we’re going to try to be a bit more predictable. When we receive a cancellation for a class we will email the first few people on the waiting list to let them know that a space is available. If you are still interested all you need to do is hop onto the website and register and pay like normal to secure your spot.
We think that this will make it much easier to nab yourself that last minute spot for wine tasting and it means you don’t have to worry about having cash to pay on the door. Double win!
If it’s really last minute (less than a couple of hours to go) we will put a shout out on Twitter and Facebook too.
Our orderly Oslo queue is in the public domain.
