Come and explore the world of pottery and clay modelling by making a personalised sculpture of your pet!
Jess will guide you through an introduction to pottery, supporting you to make your own sculpture from air-dry clay including how to personalise it or add fun details like a Cat-gargoyle!
At the end of the workshop you will walk away with new skills and a hand made object to gift to a friend or adorn your home!

Have a think about what you might like to create, and also about how to transport this home. It can be really useful to bring along an empty tupperware container and shopping bag to transport your clay work home safely.

Who will be teaching?
Jess Wilson (Dubblu) is a multidisciplinary artist, illustrator and muralist based in Footscray. Her work focuses on immersive experiences, employing a variety of techniques from audio, animation and sensory.
If she can convince her audience to climb into a pipe or crawl on the ground she considers it to be a success. She is the Creative Designer for Science Play Kids, as well as a workshop facilitator to make science and art accessible for all.
