What’s it all about?
Ever since videos were killing the radio star, dancers have been killing the floor in pop music videos. It wasn’t all money for nothing with high profile choreographers creating genre-defining routines for the likes of Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Usher, Ok Go, Fatboy Slim and many more. The “As seen on MTV” class series celebrates these famous routines by teaching you beginner modified versions of the choreography.
What will we cover?
In this class we’ll be striking a pose with Karole Armitage’s routine seen in Madonna’s “Vogue” video. To start out, we’ll warm up through some basic moves before diving into the choreography which will have you voguing, posing, and letting your body go with the flow as you move to the music.
Who will be teaching?
Liz is an IT professional by day, but has followed her love of dance since the age of 7 when it began with ballet. One style not being enough, Liz branched out into Ballroom, Hip Hop and Jazz (to name a few), in which she taught for 7 years before taking a break to travel the world – which of course, included trying many local dance styles along the way.
Now back and settled in Australia, the dance bug has bitten once again and Liz is eager to share her love of dance and having fun with others.
