Brick stitch is a bead-weaving technique where seed beads are sewn to form a staggered pattern that looks like a brick wall. It can be used to create all sorts of jewellery and accessories.

You caan create all sort of fun patterns using pixel matrix to create the designs.

In this class we will make a pair of earrings or keychain while we learn this easy technique.

All materials provided – just come and have a wonderful time!

What will we cover?

We’ll be learning:

  • How to do the 3 easy steps for brick work: foundation row, new row start and adding more beads.

  • What materials work best

  • How to work designs into the work

  • How to add a fringe

Who will be Teaching?

Maria (she/her) has crafted many weird and wonderful things since getting hooked on crochet, and she shows no signs of stopping! 

In addition to crochet and crafting, she also has a passion for cooking and baking, light painting, Spanish shoes and running Laneway Learning.
