What’s it all about?

Conscious Aging is not simply about growing older – it is about learning about how we move into eldership rather than just oldership.  It is a conscious and deeply human process of becoming wiser, more authentic, and more connected to what truly matters. It is a time where outer roles begin to soften and a deeper calling begins to emerge.

There comes a moment in many women’s lives when beyond achievement, caregiving, productivity, and responsibility, there is often a quiet yearning to ask:

“As I age, what is life asking me to let go of—and what deeper essence within me is asking to emerge in its place?”

Whether you are newly entering this stage of life or already sensing the call toward elderhood, this gathering offers a nurturing space to honour your journey and envision what is still possible

This class is a proposed antidote to all the “anti-aging” messages older women are bombarded with in social media on a daily basis.
It is about embracing the beauty, depth, and power of our later years with awareness and grace.
We carry the stories, resilience, intuition, and lived experience of decades. We are  keepers of memory and intergenerational stories.
Eldership is seen as a hard-won spiritual position earned directly through surviving the stormy trials of life.
In a culture that often worships youth, conscious elder women remind us that aging is not a diminishing but an awakening – a return to what is essential and eternal.

What will we cover?

The presentation will include:

  • Conscious aging and eldership in the west today

  • Who is the dangerous old woman and how is she lived in the world today?

  • Gentle reflection, inspiring insights, key questions around your own aging process.

  • A short guided meditation designed to help participants reconnect with the deeper essence of what eldership may mean in their everyday lives. Whether you are newly entering this stage of life or already sensing the call toward elderhood, this gathering offers a nurturing space to honour your journey and envision what is still possible

What will you need?

Something to jot down your ideas and notes. Light a candle and bring your journal and pen for us to create a virtual hearth together. A elder circle for open hearted and authentic discussion.
