Research shows the powerful benefits of drawing and creative practices for improved mental health and ongoing wellbeing. Focusing in your surroundings, learning how to observe better and how to live in the NOW are important components of mindfulness which crossover with sketching or drawing.

Enjoying the looking, finding pleasure and stillness in the tiny. It’s a mental wellbeing practice and an artistic discovery process all in one.

Who will be teaching? 

Jess Wilson (Dubblu) is a multidisciplinary artist, illustrator and muralist based in Footscray. Her work focuses on immersive experiences, employing a variety of techniques from audio, animation and sensory.

If she can convince her audience to climb into a pipe or crawl on the ground she considers it to be a success. She is the Creative Designer for Science Play Kids, as well as a workshop facilitator to make science and art accessible for all.
