Soften and unwind the tensions in your back with the clever “magic towel” technique. You will use a rolled up towel, placed under your back, to gently and comfortably release and mobilise the muscles that control and support your spine.

Once you have learned the magic towel technique you can use it any time to gain immediate relief of back stiffness.

What will we cover?

An introduction to the principles of the Feldenkrais system of movement learning and to human biomechanics.

We will then go through a systematic exploration of movements of your back and whole self and you will learn how to place and use the rolled up towel for maximum support and relief for your back

The movements will be done lying on the floor, some of the time you will be lying on the ‘magic towel’. Bring an ordinary towel (bath or beach) to class.
