Settle in to a class of nature appreciation while learning introductory botanical drawing and painting skills.
You’ll be drawing then painting your botanical pieces onto raw wood, to create nature on nature decorations to be hung on a tree or around your home this holiday period.
Whether you’re a total beginner or haven’t picked up the paints in a long while, this class is a gentle step back into painting.
All of Caro’s classes are fun introductions to botanical painting, while reminding you to notice your surroundings and the beauty of everyday nature.

This beginner’s painting class will cover:

Who will be teaching?
Caro (she/her) is a practicing artist whose current focus of
investigation is native Australian Flora. Coming from a family of plant scientists,
she developed an early appreciation for the intricacy of plants,
ecosystems and the overlaps between art and science.
She holds a
bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters of Art in Public Space and is
passionate about art being for everyone.She believes that play,
exploration and curiosity are the most important parts of creativity and
is so excited to share these passions with you.
