Hand sewing is such a useful and mindful activity. You can get lost in the stitching and end up with a lovely creation in the end.

Join us and learn basic stiches while making a felt cacti plushie to decorate your home.

All materials included, just come and have fun!

What will we cover?

In this fun hands-on workshop, you’ll learn beginners techniques to sew:

  • What materials to use for felted plush toys

  • How to cut a paper pattern

  • Stitches and decorations for felt

  • Finishing touches

Who will be teaching?

Robyn Bunting (she/her) is a reuse, repurpose and remake enthusiast who was the owner of the studio and business ‘Harold and Maude‘ on level 2 of the Nicholas Building, that focused on recycling, repurposing and remaking.

She has spent 35 years working in theatre, film and television industry making all sorts of things – costumes and props and whatever you can imagine! – using sewing and craft technique of all types.
