In this class you’ll learn the basics of working with copper. You’ll design, cut, assemble and personalise your own copper rose, perfect for decoration or as a gift.
What will we cover?
This beginner’s metalwork class will be a hands-on workshop to create a gorgeous copper flower. You will learn how to work with copper, design your own unique flower, cut, assemble and personalise it to your tastes.
All materials and equipment will be provided and you’ll go home with your creation and instructions so you can make more at home!
Who will be teaching?
Gordon (he/him) is an ethicist, environmentalist, Principal at Ethilogical Consulting, author of Power and the Professional published by McFarland Press, and a current PhD student studying counter-extremism on social media platforms.
He is also a blacksmith, coppersmith and ongoing member of the Victorian Scout Association.
