Brown paper packages tied up with string…This might suit Judy Garland, but the joys of gift giving can extend to their wrapping and decoration, too.
Whether you’re a gift wrapping pro, or tape and ribbon tie you in knots, there are useful tips and tricks for everyone in Qing’s origami gift-wrapping class. Whatever the shape of your considerate gift, there are some fun ways to use origami as practical, structural and decorative wrappings.
We’ve got our sights on Xmas just around the corner. Get in early and gain some new tricks and skills to step-up your crafty gift-giving this holiday season.
If you’re ahead on your Xmas shopping, bring in gifts to wrap. Or just take home the skills you’ve learnt and put them into practice in your own time.
What will we cover?
In this lesson we will be learning a technique developed from a traditional Japanese folding pattern that with a little practice will be a fail-proof way of gift wrapping pretty much anything.
We will go through a step-by-step guide on how to wrap and learn a whole bunch of different ways to “trim” your package to perfection.
Bring your gifts to the class so you can save time on your gift-wrapping this season!
