Let your inner fashion designer shine as you create a unique paper doll and a fun wardrobe to match.

Sofia will guide you through creating a paper version of yourself, a loved one, or a completely original character. You’ll then design a collection of outfits using familiar materials—paper, scissors, and coloured pencils.

This workshop is a chance to reconnect with your inner child and rediscover the joy of a simple yet endlessly creative craft.

Who will be teaching?

Sofia is a designer and animator based in Melbourne, working across a variety of creative techniques and mediums. She completed a Master of Animation, Games and Interactivity at RMIT University in 2026 and continues to explore the connection between storytelling, design, and craft.

Her practice includes digital projects such as the animation created for My Health Story, featured during Melbourne Design Week, and Saros—a practice-based research project exploring tangible art as a design methodology, screened at ACMI and during Mosaic: The Art of Belonging.

While much of her work is digital, Sofia has always held a special place for tactile crafts and the unique connections they can create. Through this workshop, she hopes to share her lifelong passion for dolls and craftsmanship, inviting participants to rediscover a simple craft as a way of exploring creativity and self-expression.
