Join Anther for this special double class to learn how to sculpt a realistic bust of your furry little best friend, out of a yarn pompom.

These can be used as keyrings, wall decor, a special memorial piece, or a pretty amazing gift for a dog lover!

What will we cover?

  • How to read a graph pattern to make a dog using a clover-style pompom maker and wool yarn, with optional fur patterns.

  • Cutting and needle felting to sculpt facial features

  • How to add in your dog’s real fur for memorial pieces

  • Creating different types of ears for different dog breeds

  • How to apply eyes, nose and other details

  • Realistic shading to give it depth

Additional materials:

If you have some real fur from your dog you’d like to make, you may bring it along and Anther can teach you how to add it to your piece. (Please wash with gentle soap and dry it first!)

Note: There will be a lot of wool and wool-acrylic blend fibres blown around after cutting. If you have allergies please take an antihistamine and bring a mask.
