Macramé, or the art of knotting, is having a swift revival since the 70s. It’s easy, affordable, you don’t need any tools and can spice up any room with a wall art or planter. In this class we’ll learn some basic knots while doing a trendy wall art or hanger to spruce up any room.

What will we cover?

We’ll be learning:

  • How to design your macrame wall hanger before starting
  • What materials work best
  • Basic knots such as:
    • half square knot,
    • square knot,
    • hitch/ half hitch,
    • Reverse larkshead.

Who will be Teaching?

Maria Yebra has crafted many weird and wonderful things since getting hooked on crochet, and she shows no signs of stopping! In addition to crochet and crafting, she also has a passion for cooking and baking, light painting, Spanish shoes and running Laneway Learning.
