What’s it all about?
Learn the basics of using a melt and pour soap base, how to use the ingredients to customise it, how to add colour and fragrance and how to become creative by layering. This soap can be made today and used tomorrow.
What will we cover?
We will be using both a clear and a white (opaque) SLS free melt & pour soap base to create our two layer soap. To give you an idea of what you can do with this soap we will discuss some of the customisation options which can include any of these ingredients.
- Goat’s milk soap
- Moisturising soap
- Exfoliating soaps (loofah, jojoba beads, rolled oats and pumice stone)
- Botanical soaps (calendula, chamomile, lavender and rose)
- Clay soaps (red, yellow, white and green)
- Soaps with moisturising oils such as jojoba and macadamia
- Soaps with aloe vera
Who will be teaching?
Frosa owns and operates Events Vic which incorporates Early Settler Aromatherapy and Soy Candles. She has been teaching soap making for over 15 years, candle making for 9 and rubs and scrubs class for 5-6 years.
