What’s it all about?

Want to customise your clothing, bags, curtains… basically any fabric?
Join us for textile printing and learn the whole process. After the class you will know how to do your own textile printing from a range of affordable and easy to source material. You will be able to reproduce the skills learnt during the class at home and design a range of stamps to print on different materials. There is no need for previous experience! Even if you can’t draw, this printmaking technique will allow you to achieve a cool and funky design and learn a transferable skill.

Who will be teaching?

Emilie is a Melbourne based artist and maker, currently finishing her PhD at the Victorian College of the Arts. She moved from France and 2014 and has been developing her art practice since, working with a range of media, from video to printmaking and 3D printing. Emilie is also a comic book artists. Her illustration has been published by the Lifted Brow, and she self-published her first graphic novel in 2018 with Tree Paper Comics in Melbourne.
