Whether you haven’t written creatively since high school or you’re the author of 10 books, this fun class will help you get your creativity flowing.
Through a series of timed writing exercises, we’ll explore different ways to access the creative recesses of our minds and surprise ourselves!
You might be a writer working on a specific project, a poet searching for new ideas, or someone who just wants to give creative writing a try for the first time in years – wherever you’re at, this is the class for you.
This workshop will include all new writing exercises – so even if you’ve attended this workshop before, the exercises will new new to you too.
What will we cover?
Most of this class will be devoted to writing, through a series of timed writing exercises designed to help you tap into your creativity.
These exercises will be helpful if you’re working on a specific creative writing project, but you can also do them with no particular aim or direction in mind – let your creativity surprise you!
We’ll also have a brief discussion on how best to access our creativity, along with some reflection time, so you can keep the words flowing long after the class ends.
