Belly dance is a captivating dance with influences from the Middle-East. It’s not only enjoyable and extremely fun, but also helps you to keep fit and become more conscious about your femininity and sensuality, which gives you a blast in confidence and grace.
Everyone can practice it, no matter the age, physical condition, religion… Let’s get seduced by the dance!
What will we cover?
We’ll cover the basics of one of the most ancient and traditional forms of belly dance, baladi. You’ll learn a bit about the history of belly dance and an introduction to this mystic and beautiful dance, including the different styles apart from baladi, such as folklore and tribal.
Before starting to practice the basics of belly dancing, we will warm-up and learn the correct posture. We will also cover some of the most significant moves: drops, circles, eights, shimmies and the undulating movement of arms.
Who will be teaching?
Noemi has been studying, practicing and performing belly dance for the last eight years, with Sandra González in Las Palmas de GC (Spain), being a remarkable member of her professional group (Kalima Bellydance). Noemi has taken master classes with international and prestigious teachers, such as Virginia, Ansuya and Mardi Love among others.
