Have you ever looked at an abstract artwork and wondered how it was made? Why it was made? Come along to find out!
In this class we’ll have a look at abstract painters just as Joan Miro and how they compose their abstract works for balance and aesthetics.
Then we’ll get to have a go at composing our own work
What will we cover?
This hands on workshop will give you a practical guide to composing abstract works of art. Influenced by Joan Miro’s techniques you will learn how to balance shapes and forms to create a harmonious composition.
Beginning with paper squares to get the basics then moving onto composing a series of drawings to unlock the way you make abstract art.
