Who will be teaching?

Consuelo (She/her) is a marine biologist with a PhD in
environmental sciences from the University of
Queensland. Her specialty is water quality and waste
management and since the completion of her PhD, she
has been focused on engaging with the community and
raising awareness about environmental issues.

When she moved to Australia, she was excited to live in a country with a recycling program. However, she soon realized that many people were unclear about how the recycling system in Brisbane works. For this reason, she decided to take action and
develop a fun workshop that could help others understand the world of waste.
