What’s it all about?
AI has been around for a while, but it’s becoming more and more prevalent, visible and accessible in our daily lives. From Chat GTP to an AI generated photograph winning international prizes…what is AI, and what’s it all about?
Your teacher Simon is here to demystify AI and give you some hands-on knowledge about what it can do, how, and why.
Simon has taught machine learning and AI ideas to elderly people in aged care homes as well as to young students considering a career in this industry. He believes that this technology will soon be in everyone’s hands and believes there is a great need to help bridge a knowledge gap.
So if you’re keen to dip your toes into the world of Artificial Intelligence, come and join Simon in this interactive class. (no coding experience required)
What will we cover?
In this interactive class, you’ll learn about AI from someone who teaches machines and teaches people, and teaches people to teach machines!
As well as exploring the fundamental ideas behind how AI works, you’ll be getting hands-on with the algorithms and putting them to work yourself (Not as tricky as it sounds!).
