What’s it all about?

This is the perfect class for you if you have a lovely fabric item that is perhaps just a bit too plain and needing to be personalised or customised.  This can apply to clothing, fabric and tote bags, super hero capes, kids tents, curtains, tablecloths, napkins and so much more!

This class will teach you the basics process for textile printing and how to produce your own designs from a range of affordable and easy to source materials.

What will we cover?

  • How to design and compose your image
  • Demonstrate how to use your materials at hand to print onto the fabric
  • Try out vegetable cutting for hand printing

In this class we will learn how to turn objects from your house into stamps and how to creates beautiful prints from it. Go on a scavenger hunt around your house to find objects you think you can print with, and we’ll test them out during the class!

Even if you can’t draw, this printmaking technique will allow you to achieve a cool and funky design and learn a transferable skill.

  • Cutting tool (eg. box-cutter, blade, knife)
