What’s it all about?

Using natural raffia and a large needle we will create our very own dilly bags! Using a simple one stitch weave we will put together our very own masterpiece, you can even adorn it with feathers or beads as your bag comes together. Let your creative self unfold during this fun and relaxed workshop.

What will we cover?

In an informal setting, we will learn how to manipulate the raffia into string then weave it into a dilly bag. There will be a simple step-by-step demonstration, handout notes to take home with instructions and as always, a great visual presentation of bag / bowl styles. We will also provide you with everything you need to know for your future projects, including details of where to source your own materials.
