What’s it all about?

Ever wanted to learn to knit but couldn’t get your hands around needles, yarn and ended up all tangled in knots? Knit one, purl one no fun? Well drop the needles and just bring along your hands.

There are no sharp implements involved that aren’t allowed as carry-on luggage in this class. You can’t poke your neighbour in the eye as you purl. This is knitting with no frills. Simple and fun finger knitting.

What will we cover?

Knitting unplugged is a simple introduction to the art of finger knitting. Maybe you can remember learning how to knit on your fingers in primary school? You can use this simple technique on all of your five fingers and learn to make a scarf or neck warmer for the winter while learning the basics of knitting.

Not good with your hands? No problem. You’ll be taken step-by-step through the technique with pictures to follow so you won’t get lost in a pile of loops and you can take it home with you to use again and again.

Warning: This is NOT your nanna’s knitting!
