What’s it all about?
While teaching a language (or even the basics of it), in just over an hour is quite an impossible task, this class will provide some phrases and basic conversation starters in Hebrew.
These will be helpful for anyone who is planning to travel to Israel or anyone who has Israeli relatives or friends that they want to converse with.
Or, for those of you language buffs, it could just be a way of adding a new language to the list of languages that you already speak.
What will we cover?
This class will cover basics of Hebrew conversation that might be useful for basic conversation with an Israeli relative or friend and/or be required for travelling to Israel. These include:
- Basic greetings and introductions
- Asking about the weather
- Getting directions
- Ordering food in a restaurant
- Buying something in a store
No prior knowledge of Hebrew is necessary. All words and phrases will be transliterated into English characters.
