Have you ever wanted to be the most popular person at a festival or event? Do you want to impress all your friends with a hidden talented? Do you like making art and want to expand your skills?
This is the class for you! We’ll be learning all about henna and will create some beautiful temporary designs.
What will we cover?
Henna is a substance made from a shrub. It is used in many different ways, including temporary tattoos (traditionally used for celebrations and rites of passage).
In this lesson we will go over the basic patterns traditionally used and how to combine them to form an UNREAL tattoo! Plus we’ll look at the more modern patterns and drawings that can be done.
You’ll leave the class with the skills to do more henna art, plus an awesome design on your body (or on paper if you don’t want a temporary tattoo). Henna can be done on your hand, arm, foot, leg, neck… you name it, just come dressed appropriately.
Who will be teaching?
Dawn is a young illustrator who specialises in black and white pen drawings, as well as professional face painting at parties and events, and, as you may guess, henna art and tattoos! She has a passion for anything artsy fartsy and is very excited to show others how to master the skills of henna. You can see some of her work on her website.
