What will we cover?
This class will take you through some basic concepts behind mental fitness, using exercises that involve simple and easy origami folding techniques.
At the end of the class you will leave with ideas and techniques that you can apply to other areas of your daily life to help you exercise your attention and concentration.
Who will be teaching?
Michael Lai is an origamist (origami artist/enthusiast) who has pioneered and experimented with the use of flower petals and vegetables leaves in origami.
He is constantly exploring the realms that lies between art and science, and in the process discovering people who are applying their creativity in a way that is harmonious with the beauty and mystery of nature.
His latest project involves the investigation of origami as part of a mental fitness regime to complement physical fitness exercises.
