What’s it all about?

Learn how to make the most of your leftover vegetables. Let’s put them in jars with some enhancing flavours and a bit of luck and love, and tuck them away until the glums of winter are upon us.

There is extraordinary pleasure in creating something delicious to eat and more especially to share. Find out the basics so you can tackle the offer of neighbours’ fruit or that cheap box of produce from the market.

What will we cover?

While we slice, cook and jar up we will cover the basics of how to pickle vegetables, which ones to use and what delicious flavours to use. You will taste some of these delightful pickles during the demonstration.

Who will be teaching?

You’ll be guided by Camilla from Rhubarb Rhubarb Organics in Preston Market. Camilla is a passionate pickled vegetable lover and home-pickler.
