What’s it all about?

Can’t get to a florist yet? So get lets get crafty and creative and make a some simple but lovely paper flowers, both large and small!  Marloes will guide you through the simple techniques as you create some fun and fabulous paper flowers. You can recycle gift wrap, newspapers etc or use bright tissue or crepe paper, the material is all up to you, but the results are just lovely! Ideal for a splash of lasting colour in your home or as a cheer you up gift for family or friends.

What will we cover?

Several simple paper flower styles using a variety of papers, creating several different flower styles – it simply opens the doors do a realm of paper floral beauty.

What will you need?

  • Paper – gift wrap tissue paper, crepe paper, recycle gift wrap, newspaper or even magazines
  • Scissors, glue/glue stick or double sided tape, elastic bands, string or curling ribbon, skewers or pipe cleaners for stems (you can even use chop sticks)
  • FYI: Patterns will be sent on the day with your Zoom link

Who will be teaching?

Artist Marloes  Bakker-Marsden teaches a variety traditional art styles and a wide variety of craft in various mediums at community centres, retirement communities and other locations, sharing her skills and passions with others in a light hearted and fun way that makes the experience totally enjoyable and rewarding for everyone involved.
