What’s it all about?

Patchwork and quilting are great ways to make larger designs with just a little bit of needle know-how. It’s a fun and relaxing way to spend some time and inject your personality into what you are putting together.

We’ll learn the basics of needlework and patchwork so no experience is necessary.

What will we cover?

In this class we will learn how to sew and put together patchwork so that you can start to turn that beautiful fabric, and those scraps, into something amazing.

Come along and make a cute little hand-stitched pincushion while the very basics of patchwork are explained to you.

Who will be teaching?

Maria Cook is a passionate quilter who has been playing with textiles for most of her life. She loves making quilts, large and small and likes to foster that love in others. Maria has had her work shown in exhibitions, published in books and now she is going to share some of it with you. You can find out more and follow her creations on her blog.
