What’s it all about?

Do you find that every other thing you pull out of your drawers has a hole in it? Or perhaps you just ripped your favourite pair of jeans and walking around with your undies on show really isn’t your style?

Come to this class and learn how to give your clothes some much needed TLC.

What will we cover?

We will cover the basics you need to mend your clothes, saving you cash and shopping-based
traumas. Including how to:

  • Use a needle and thread
  • Sew on buttons
  • Close up holes
  • Mend pockets
  • Fix seams

After that we will follow demand depending on time so who knows what else we’ll learn?! So, rifle and rummage through your wardrobe for those sorry looking items and your backside need never be exposed again.

Who will be teaching?

Lucie in a boxLucie Bradley is a chemistry PhD student by day and a Jill of all trades by night. She has been known to sit through boring seminars and train journeys patching up her clothes and would love to help you do the same. If her face looks familiar it’s because she is also one of the Laneway Learning Team.
