What’s it all about?

Corsages and buttonholes are small floral arrangements worn for formal occasions such as weddings and proms. Traditionally small bunches of flowers and herbs were worn at weddings to ward off evil spirits. Nowadays they are a simple way to really add that extra zing to accent your outfit for that special occasion.

What will we cover?

Learn the techniques to select, prepare and arrange elements for small, wired clusters such as button holes and a corsage, along with slightly larger compositions such as a cake topper design. During the workshop we will also make a small posy, while learning the essential floral arranging rules-of-thumb.
