What’s it all about?

Want to try a fun, social and unabashedly joyful style of dance? Then Lindy hop is for you!

The Lindy hop is an American dance born in Harlem in the late 1920, and very popular in the Swing era of the late 1930s and early 1940s. Lindy Hop is now re-living a new boom, and you can learn the basics in this fun class.

What will we cover?

We will cover some basic steps of the lindy hop and share with you its main happy vibe. At the end of the class you will be able to social dance a song.

Who will be teaching?

Krystian and Freddy teach regularly for Swing Patrol Northcote and are active members of the Melbourne Lindy Hop community. They are part of Hot Jam dance troupe and are always keen to share their passion for this dance.
