What’s it all about?

Fancy yourself a film enthusiast? Do you pick apart scenes aspect by aspect? Or do you sit and wonder how it’s all done? What rules do film-makers follow, if any, on their storytelling journey?

There are many rules and guidelines to follow when producing any sort of moving image media, and this class will be covering the fundamental technical aspects.

Who will be teaching?

Britta Lauritzen is a freelance camera operator, and lighting technician. Having worked in New Zealand for a number of years, on sets such as; The Most Fun You Can Have Dying, My Wedding and Other Secrets, and Shortland Street, Britta has since moved to Melbourne to continue her film career. She graduated her Bachelor of Screen Arts having DoPed two short films, one of which was a prize winning entry at the Kyoto International Student Film Festival in 2012.
