What’s it all about?

Journalling is a great way to get inspiration but it can be pretty expensive to buy a really good journal. So why not make your own journal (with my guidance of course!) using simple coptic stitch to get that pro-looking journal (using cheap and simple tools) and you can save every dollar in your pocket!

What will we cover?

  • Brief introduction on the basic history of bookbinding and its various stitches
  • Explanation of the bookbinding method using coptic stitch
  • DIY time!
  • You can bring your own fabric (fat quarter or ¼ meter of fabric) for an added personal touch or use ours at no extra cost.

After class you will be walking away with a handmade journal of your own so then you can start journalling away!

Who will be teaching?

Aim ArisHandmade enthusiast, blogger, ex-engineer and entrepreneur; Aim Aris is really juggling between her left and right brain to balance up her everyday life. Nonetheless she has found joy in everything that she does, from sewing to designing structure.

We would like to thank Miss Ruth for the image.
