What’s it all about?

In our daily lives, there is so much to think about and to do and we hardly have a moment for ourselves. This is why it is important to set up a special space in your home or office where you can retreat for a few moments to relax and find calmness before you continue on your way, feeling recharged and centred.

This workshop will show you how to create designated zones at home and at work where only particular activities happen such as meditation, listening to calm music, reading inspiring books and consciously connecting with others.

What will we cover?

  • Brief introduction to what a mindful space is and why they’re important.
  • The history of mindful spaces. Discover which traditions originated the ideas of mindful spaces and how these practices brought greater awareness into their lives.
  • A short guided meditation to help you experience the benefits of sitting together in a mindful space.
  • Practical ideas on how to set up your own space using fabrics, music, scents and natural elements.
