Would you like to learn how to make fresh, home made crystal dumplings?!

Homemade dumplings often taste so much nicer and are way cheaper than store bought ones!

Har Gow or steamed crystal dumplings are a classic Cantonese dish and a favourite in any dim sum restaurant. 

With their unique see-through skin showing the yummy filling, these will make an impression at any dinner.

What we will cover?

In this lesson you will learn:

    • How to make your own delicious vegetarian filling from scratch
    • A demonstration of how to prepare the crystal dumpling skins
    • How to steam them to perfection
    • Finally, we’ll get to taste them!

Who will be teaching? 

Qing (she/her) loves to cook for her family and learnt traditional methods from her parents. 

She has many passions and also teaches classes at Laneway Learning on origami and beading. Her hobbies include dressmaking and embroidery.
