What’s it all about?

Join us for an interactive workshop of self-discovery and finding your ikigai. According to Japanese culture, everyone has an ikigai. It might take time and effort to find it. If you don’t know what your ikigai is yet, your mission is to discover it for more meaning and happiness in your life and career.
Ikigai refers to one’s purpose, the thing you live for, the reason for your being and why you wake up each day. Discovering one’s ikigai brings satisfaction and meaning to life. It encompasses four areas: What you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs and what you can get paid for. This workshop will help you find your ikigai by triggering the process of self-exploration and discovery of your true purpose in life. You will walk away with a fresh perspective and a better vision/goals for your future personally and professionally.

What will we cover?

We will introduce the concept of Ikigai with its origins, meaning and what it means for us today. During the workshop, we will do personal and group exercises in self-exploration, reflection and mindfulness that will trigger your intuition and curiosity to help you connect with your ikigai. You will take home your personal ikigai exploration chart along with valuable personal insights to find your ikigai. Once you discover your ikigai, pursuing it and nurturing it every day will bring more meaning and happiness to your life.
