Within this workshop you will create a gorgeous arrangement as you learn the essential techniques to create a feature piece to put on display.
You will learn all about the design elements and principles of floristry to help you create beautiful flower arrangements!

What will we cover?
This is a simple, cheerful, beginners class where you will learn to use real flowers to create an arrangement into a pot.
We will use a small pot and some chicken wire, inserting flowers and foliage one stem at a time into the pot to create a gorgeous arrangement ready for the centre of your dining table or hall stand.
Learn tips and tricks that will help you create your design, while learning about seasonal flowers and what flowers work well together.
What should I bring?
All materials you will need are supplied in class ready for you to use.
If you have any skin allergies to flower or plant material please bring a pair of latex gloves to protect your skin.

Who will be teaching?
Robyn (she/her) is the owner of ‘Harold and Maude‘ on level 2 of the Nicholas Building. She will start you on the path to creating heirlooms that combine reuse and repurpose with a history of community and skill.
Completion of project, colour use and big picture coaching are all on offer – so come along and learn the basics.
