What’s it all about?

Flower Crowns have been used as adornments, for special celebrations or as a sign of victory in many cultures all over the world. From the laurel wreaths of Ancient Greece and Ukrainian vinok to Polynesian culture just to name a few. Did you know that Queen Victoria wore and orange blossom one to her wedding to Prince Albert in 1840? The iconic Frida Kahlo often painted herself wearing one and nowadays they are popular at weddings and festivals.

Sarah has always had a love for flowers from childhood when her Mum picked them from the garden to have in the family home. After moving to Melbourne from NZ and working 7 years for a bank she decided it was finally time to follow an inkling and enter into the world of floristry. She is soon to complete the 2-year Floristry certificate and has already started her career working in the industry. Her Instagram is mainly full of flowers!
