If you’ve been to Bali, have you ever wondered what lies beyond Denpasar? Beyond Kuta beach and the hills of your Ubud yoga retreat? Or whether Bali really is different to the rest of Indonesia?

We’re going to learn a bit about one of Australia’s closest neighbours. There’s so much to cover! Whether you’re most interested in the geography of the country, the myriad cultures and religions, the tastiest food to try, the most useful phrases to learn, or some key moments in history, Simone will point you in the right direction for an Indonesian adventure beyond Bali.

What will we cover?

This online class will provide an overview of Indonesia, and will include:

  • Geography (about 18,110 islands and islets!)
  • Culture and religions
  • History
  • Food and regional dishes
  • Languages

You’ll learn some Indonesian phrases and get to test your knowledge of the country. Plus, if you’re planning a trip there, you can ask questions about specific sights and locations.
