Join the food revolution as we learn and discover new, nutritious & delicious ways to fuel our body and minds. In this practical workshop we will cover the basics of making wholejuices. That means preparing and blending ingredients that you get to drink! Yum!
What’s a ‘Wholejuice’? Good question! That’s our term for a juice that keeps all the pulp. A Wholejuice is not quite a ‘smoothie,’ because it looks and tastes like a juice. It’s also not a juice, which is typically high in sugar given the low fibre content. We think we’ve found the new generation juice!
What will we cover?
- We’ll learn about the benefits of various superfoods & ingredients used in making wholejuices
- We’ll speak to the differences and benefits in juicing versus blending
- You’ll learn how to make a wholejuice yourself using delicious recipes, and what you need to incorporate it into your daily life
Who will be teaching?
Just like many of us, Kylie and Onur experience the pressures and stress that comes with busy, professional lives. They started to search for ways of enhancing their sense of wellbeing and balance of body and mind. Inspired by lean startup methodology and interested in exploring nutritious food options, they ran a super smoothie pop up on Elizabeth St earlier this year. The response to their super smoothies was overwhelming and their pop up is now slowly evolving into a side project ‘Wholejuice’.
