What’s it all about?

Have you ever wondered how those wonderful surreal looking images you see on the web are made? Ever wished you had the know-how to create some impressive looking pictures yourself?

Well we will teach you the basics to get you started in photographing your own HDR (High Dynamic Range) images. Come along to learn and see how it’s done.

What will we cover?

We will discuss what HDR means and what is so special about HDR images. We will also learn, through a practical lesson, how to go about photographing and producing a HDR image!

Although this will just be an introductory lesson to the world of HDR Photography (as the subject is quite broad) we hope this will get you started and interested enough to pursue further discovery with HDR!

HDR can be anything from realistic to the surreal, you’re only limited by your imagination.

Who will be teaching?

Joel McDonald, currently studying a diploma of photo imaging, has years of experience in landscape and streetscape photography. If you want to check out some of his work then check out his website here.
