What’s it all about?
Have you ever wanted to make your own jam but just didn’t know where to start? Perhaps you have too much fruit from your garden and would like to make something with it?
Well, now is your chance! You will leave this class with all the knowledge you need to make your own homemade jam. So, come and celebrate the autumn season with a hands-on session making jam using seasonal fruits.
What will we cover?
This workshop will show you the basics of preserving, including preparation, jar sterilisation, setting points and bottling of jams. We will work through the process step-by-step and all participants will receive instructions, recipes and a jar of delicious preserves to take home.
Who will be teaching?
Yasmin loves cooking. She is a very passionate cook and believes that food really feeds the soul and not just the stomach. She has a cooking blog, and is really looking forward to taking us through the Jam making process. You can also find her on Facebook.
