What’s it all about?

Have you heard about kombucha? This drink is taking the world by storm – and it’s time you started brewing it. Kombucha: Brewing to Bottling is a crash course on kombucha, the fermented, probiotic beverage packed full of healthy bacteria, enzymes, vitamins and minerals.

We plan to teach you all about why to drink it, and how to brew it.

What will we cover?

We will cover why kombucha is a super smart beverage to be drinking and how you can brew it in your very own kitchen. We’ll give you the ancient Chinese history of kombucha, cover some of the evidence, and then show you step-by-step how to brew it yourself along with some delicious samples of course.

There will also be a complete home-brew kit available for purchase at the end of class if you want to get going right away.

Who will be teaching?

The class will be taught by Geneva Pritchard and Georgia Savage, the two master-minds behind the local kombucha brand, KombuchAID. Geneva is the founder of KombuchAID and has been drinking kombucha for over 10 years, and brewing for nearly 3 years. She is passionate and energetic about the drink, and loves sharing tricks of the trade for the perfect home-brew. Georgia is a brewer, flavour creator, business development manager, master gardener and general health and wellness enthusiast.
