What’s it all about?

In a world where multitasking is often expected and celebrated, learning how to relax the body and calm the mind through meditation is essential for a content, fulfilled and productive life.

What will we cover?

We will be learning a range of techniques to relax the body and calm the mind through meditation. Some will require us to sit, others to move, and many will only take a minute or two.

We’ll learn the nuts and bolts of meditation in way that is fun, relevant and applicable to our day-to-day.

Who will be teaching?

picture alanaAlana Smith is passionate about making meditation accessible to everyone, with a particular interest in culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities from low socio-economic backgrounds. When she is not running meditation courses with the Melbourne Meditation Centre, or teaching yoga, she assists organisations to grow through the use of online tools and strategies, and eats dark chocolate and mashed potato (not together!), watches Australian TV series, pats dogs and goes bush walking.
