Pixel macrame is a type of macrame that uses only one knot to create cute pixel images. It’s very easy to learn and mindful to work, you can create very intricate images as long as they are rendered in pixels or squares (think any cross stitch pattern, any Mindcraft or 8bit video game…).

These tapestries look fantastic as wall decor, bags, baskets and more….

In this beginners class we will play with double hitch knots to make our own pixel macrame art.

What will we cover?

We’ll be learning:

  • What materials work best
  • Double hitch – both ways
  • Weaving strands
  • Finishing touches like how to work the fringe
  • Where to buy materials
