If you’ve felt like you were born with two left feet, or simply want to learn some basics and fundamentals of dance, here’s your chance!
This class is for people who don’t quite feel comfortable diving into drop in dance classes, and to learn basic yet essential techniques.
This is for all of you who hide in the back and sway from side to side at the club, or for those wanting to get comfortable attending casual dance classes.
This event will be half social chats with a bunch of like minded queer people and half fun, educational and interactive workshop.
All workshops are taught by queers, for queers.
What will we cover?
In this workshop we will:
- Learn about finding your own unique groove
- Basic commercial/street styles
- Cover technique as well as how to find rhythm and flow.
- Elements and accents to look for in tracks, so that if you’re improvising you know what to hit!

We’ll then tie all of this into a basic routine at the end of class.
