What’s it all about?
In this class you get to find out how to wow family and friends and feel very self satisfied by putting yummy stuff into jars to enjoy later. So the loaded lemon tree, box of very cheap tomatoes from the market or basket of plums from the neighbour will become a welcome challenge rather than a trip to the compost bin. And people love to receive a gift you’ve made yourself so you’ll never need to buy boxes of chocolates again.
What will we cover?
While we knock up a batch of bread and butter cucumbers we will cover the basic techniques of preserving fruits, vegetables and herbs and get you ready for the abundance of summer produce.
Who will be teaching?
Jennifer of Hells Breath Relish has been in the business of making relishes, pickles, jams and sauces for the past 15 years and is keen to encourage you to get an apron on and clear some space in your pantry for some fabulous preserves.
