What is all about?

Always wanted to visit Spanish speaking country and muster a few more words than paella and cerveza?  Come to this class and learn the basics as well as all you need to go shopping. We will learn to make a basic groceries list and go to the market to get all we need for the week. It is going to be lots of fun, are you going to come along with me? This will be an intro class and everyone will be able to make a groceries list and learn basic expressions, even if you have never heard of the Spanish language.

What will be cover?

  • Basic salutations and moving around in the city
  • Basic verbs to get you going
  • Vocabulary about food and markets
  • Some phrases to help deal with the shop assistants.
  • We will prepare our own Spanish groceries list and we will buy all we need.

Who will be teaching?

photoLizette González was born and raised in Mexico City. She holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations and a Masters in Public Policy and Management from the University of Melbourne. She loves teaching and learning languages because they help bringing people together and allow us to learn from each other.
